Irregular Dances

This suite of duets for alto and tenor saxophones by David Webber, author of MOZART, was adapted for two violins and for violin and viola by Şerban Nichifor and received its world premiere in those forms at the music festival "NUOVA MUSICA CONSONANTE" at the National Music University of Bucharest on 21 November 2003. Recordings of both adaptations are given here in Real Audio format. The music was both written and adapted using MOZART (see illustrations). This made the "technical" part of resetting them for strings very straightforward, allowing Prof. Nichifor to focus on the musical aspects.
