Mozart's template files are very flexible - it may be worth experimenting with them and creating your own.
When you first start a piece using a template it is advisable to go to the Layout/PageFormat command and adjust the dimensions of the music to fit on the page of your own printer. Then export the template so that next time you use it, it is correctly set up for your printer.
If you have already created a piece for a certain ensemble, and wish to write for that group again, then you can save a template from your first score and use it to set up another. This saves a lot of work defining the score and setting voices etc.
